The primitive medicine was seen as the causes of many diseases in witchcraft and magic. Treatment also took place without rational basis, mostly by shamans or witch doctors who had treated the ritualistic and medicinal plants.

Medicine is a collection of ancient cultivated fields as medicine in ancient times to the Middle and Far East, Greece and Rome. In most civilizations were priests, doctors, and rational action intertwined with magical practices. Causes of diseases most frequently looked for the factors in the supernatural and divine intervention.
Medicine of ancient Mesopotamia [edit]
In ancient Mesopotamia, the cause of illness and treatment was similar to other ancient civilizations.
